SKINNIN’ SKUNKS
What started out as a joke among colleagues, became the main influence for the name of Rat Rod 2. Like the first Rat Rod, this one started with a car body and a pile of parts. This time, a 1989 Honda CRX body and from there, the craziness began. From mocking up a 1968 Camaro nose and haveing it made into a fiberglass tilt nose, to cutting the whole rear section out to graft in a 1967 Mustang tail light panel. The students had big ideas and it took a lot of critical thinking, fabricating, busted knuckles and a lot of laughs.
